In 2023, Guangdong Jiangxin Steel Structure Co., Ltd. simultaneously won two major projects in the Philippines: the BIT Data Center in Manila (3,200 tons of steel) and the Shopee e-commerce logistics warehousing center (5,800 tons of steel). The successful landing of both projects is an important achievement of Jiangxin Steel Structure's deep cultivation in the Southeast Asian market.

BIT Data Center: Precision First, Safety First

Data centers are the heart of the digital economy and have extremely stringent requirements for the accuracy, safety, and fire performance of building structures. The BIT Data Center project has a total area of about 28,000 square meters. The floor load design needs to meet the super-heavy load requirements of server cabinets, and the clear height of each floor must be accurate to the centimeter level to ensure standardized installation of wiring and cooling equipment.

Through BIM precision modeling, we identified and resolved conflicts between structural and electromechanical pipelines in advance, and with high-strength steel beams and compliant fire-resistant coatings, we ultimately built a data center main structure for BIT that meets international T3+ standards.

Shopee Logistics Center: Large Span, Fast Delivery

Shopee's logistics and warehousing center is a core facility serving Southeast Asia's largest e-commerce platform, with a total area of 60,000 square meters. It requires large-span, column-free space to accommodate dense shelving systems and automated sorting equipment. The portal steel frame structure with a maximum single span of 36 meters, combined with our deep accumulation in factory prefabrication, compressed the on-site installation cycle to only 4 months, saving about 30% of the construction period compared to traditional construction plans.

Overseas Experience: Standards, Coordination, and Localization

Carrying out engineering in the Philippines faces multiple challenges such as local regulatory standards, language communication, and logistics transportation. We set up a dedicated overseas project coordination team to follow up on every link from factory shipment to on-site installation and acceptance. The success of both projects has further accumulated our valuable experience in carrying out complex engineering in the Southeast Asian market, laying a solid foundation for subsequent expansion in markets such as Indonesia, Vietnam, and Malaysia.
